Willy found these sorority jacket blanks online for $35 (including shipping costs.) Now, depending on the intricacies of the custom design, these kinds of jackets can be sold for up to $180, meaning you can profit up to $145 on this one garment! In this video, Willy takes you through the entire design process and offers tips on how to make a design stand out, recommended sizing, and what design choices you can make to ensure the details are clean and visible when you digitize and then embroider. Pro tip: Working with your client and going back and forth with your professional advice on a certain design will not only ensure great product outcomes, but will always leave the customer happy with your service. Once the design has been approved, it’s time to digitize using Chroma Luxe. These complex designs have plenty of small lettering and graphics, so Willy recommends using a type of run stitch called a bean stitch for those intricate details.
